How to apply
Before applying, make sure that you are aware of the University's entry standards and prerequisites and English Language Requirements.
How you apply will differ depending on whether you are:

International students currently studying VCE or other Year 12 or IB program in Australia
International students who are currently studying the VCE or IB or other Year 12 program in Australia should apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
Full details regarding the VTAC application process may be found at the VTAC website or by purchasing the VTAC Guide from a newsagent.
All other international students
You may select one of the following options:
- apply online
- download an application form (PDF*, 240kb, 4 pages)
- apply through one of our overseas representatives
- request an undergraduate application form to be posted to you
- download the International Undergraduate Declaration form (PDF*, 32Kb)
Please note that if you are applying for a Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) undergraduate course in Dance, Drama, Fine Art, Film and Television, Music Theatre, Music Performance or Production you must first refer to the VCA website. For VCA courses an application form should be sent, with the Supplementary Admissions Information sheet (if applicable), together with any additional information that you may be required to submit, such as folio, audition tape etc, to International Admissions, University of Melbourne.
You will need Adobe Reader to view PDF files and can download the reader free from the Adobe website.
