Accepting your Study Abroad or Exchange Offer
Acceptance agreement
When you have received an unconditional letter of offer you need accept your offer by:
- completing, signing and dating the Acceptance and Payment Agreement Form (PDF, 24 pages, 2.50MB). You can also find this information on the USB flash drive (memory stick) provided by the University upon receiving your offer package.
- providing evidence of pre-visa assesment (if applicable)
- payment of your tuition fees in Australian dollars (non-sponsored Study Abroad students only)
- payment of your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) (you will leave this site) in Australian dollars

Please accept your offer as early as possible to allow the necessary 4-6 weeks for obtaining a student visa.
If you have received a conditional offer you must meet the conditions of your offer and provide documentation of this before you can accept your offer. Your offer letter will provide details of the conditions of your offer.
Pre-visa assesment
Are you a citizen of one of the countries in the below table 'Countries exempt from pre-visa assessment?'. If:
- YES: you do not have to undertake pre-visa assessment. Please apply for your student visa as soon as you receive your Confirmation of Enrolment.
- NO: you must provide evidence of pre-visa assessment before you can accept your offer. Pre-visa assessment can take up to 6 weeks. It is very important you apply for it as soon as you receive your letter of offer.To apply for pre-visa assesment contact your nearest Australian Diplomatic mission.
