Melbourne's generous scholarships program provides essential financial support for local and international research students.
If you are considering a PhD or masters by research, the Melbourne Scholarships Program offers a generous range of scholarships to support local and international graduate research students. Scholarships are also available through industry and government programs, and individual faculties and departments.
Apply for a scholarship
Applications for most scholarships close on 31 October.
Local applicants who apply for an australian Postgraduate Award or a Melbourne Research Scholarship through SCHOLS will automatically be selected for most other available scholarships.
International applicants are automatically considered for scholarships once they receive an unconditional course offer for an eligible course.
