Melbourne Model graduate professional entry programs
To complement its undergraduate offerings in 2008 and the introduction of the Melbourne Model, the University is introducing a range of new graduate professional entry programs. Students who complete these programs will be awarded a Masters degree - a prestigious postgraduate qualification offering an important edge in the workplace.
In the graduate professional degrees listed below, at least 50% of places available to Australian students (and in some cases such as Teaching and Nursing- up to 100%) will be Commonwealth supported places (CSP) - commonly known as HECS places.
Eligible students undertaking these approved Masters programs will be able to access Youth Allowance, Austudy or the Pensioners Education Supplement from 1 January 2008.
These programs will also be eligible for Graduate Access Melbourne a special entry and access scholarships scheme designed to increase participation of students from diverse backgrounds.
