Graduate Access Melbourne *NEW for 2008*

Excellence and equity are inseparable at Melbourne. Graduate Access Melbourne ensures the widest possible access for talented students, regardless of their background or circumstances. It provides access to applicants whose personal circumstances have had a sustained adverse effect on their academic achievement at undergraduate level or who are members of a specified group known to be underrepresented in higher education.

The Graduate Access Melbourne scheme will apply to Australian students seeking a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) in one of the University's new graduate professional entry degrees. At least 20% of the total number of Commonwealth supported places available in these graduate degrees will be allocated to Graduate Access Melbourne applicants.  In addition, up to 100 Graduate Access Melbourne Bursaries will be awarded annually to eligible Graduate Access Melbourne applicants enrolling in one of the new graduate professional degrees.
