What's the Exchange/Study Abroad program like?

“When I was leaving Denmark I was really excited at the prospect of meeting new people. It has been a really amazing and intense experience just because there are people here from all over the world and all different walks of life and so it is a great way to learn about other people. Everyone that I've talked to about the exchange experience says that they didn't want to go home and that a year just wasn't long enough. I know I will be really sad to leave but I know that I would love to come back and visit or hopefully work in Australia one day.” — Camilla (exchange student from University of Aalborg, Denmark) |

“It's great being on exchange at such a well known university — its location and facilities are excellent. I'm here for a whole year but it's just going much too fast. Going on exchange is a fantastic opportunity to discover a country like Australia which you may never have the chance of visiting again.” — Rudy (exchange student from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan) |

“I have always wanted to do Study Abroad and it's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in another culture. Studying in Melbourne has opened my eyes to what it's like to live in a big city and this is something that I really value.” — Beth (Study Abroad student from Bryant College, Rhode Island, USA) |

“I highly recommend the Melbourne Welcome Program — it's fun, you get to meet heaps of people and it's a great way to find out about the city and how to get around. My orientation experience was also great and everything was really well organised so that I could find out everything I needed to know within the first day.” — Reggie (Study Abroad student from University of Michigan, USA) |
