Tour the campus
There are a number of options for you to visit the University of Melbourne and gain a broad experience of the campus and the services and facilities available to you:
- Seeing the campus in person is the best option if possible; our self-guided tour can help you find your way around.
- If you can't make it on to campus, a virtual tour of the University is the next best thing.
- Are you a teacher or a career adviser? Tours for school groups can be arranged.
Self-guided tours
Self-Guided Tour maps are available to collect at the University Information Centre. They provide valuable information about the buildings on-campus and the map provides you with a suggested tour route to follow. This route has been especially designed to gain an overview of the campus, with optional detours you can follow if there is an area of the University that interests you.
Self-Guided Tours can be conducted any time of the year. The route takes approximately 40 minutes to complete.
The staff in the Information Centre can also provide advice about undergraduate courses and the University in general. A range of brochures are available, including two maps which may be useful in your tour:
- Culture on campus
- Sculpture on campus
